When the target audience is talking,
how can we be part of the conversation?

BACKGROUND

With our consumers talking about College Basketball’s March Madness, Trojan wanted to be involved. The Social Team had a sweepstakes idea: win a box of condoms for every block in the tournament.

JOURNEY

The contest would be tracked on Twitter and it needed a quick and direct image. The thumb-stopping visual would be tongue-in-cheek, subtle and complimentary to the sweepstakes.

I used letters styled like typography found on basketball jerseys; it spoke with an athletic visual language with the benefit of being legible at smaller sizes as well.

The closed net imagery is a playful allusion to condoms.
An additional prize of the contest, was winning a vibrator for every last-minute “buzzer beater” in the tournament.

Winners were sent modest prize packages in the mail, and took to social media to share their appreciation.
